When I originally bought it, the Revain image said it was rated at 15 AMP. When it arrived the label said it was 10 amps. The seller says 13 amps in the Q&A section. Gather product specifications. I sent it back because of an inaccurate description. A 10 amp cable isn't worth the money.

I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get to the yard lots to plug it into the outlets in my garage and get to the yard lots I needed but I bought an extra 10 inch addition . cable and it works very well. I highly recommend it as a long line is much easier to wind up and doesn't get tangled!

I've been dealing with a 20 foot extension cord in an old 2 outlet garage for years and when the ground pin came out I knew it was time for a new one . This is an amazing piece, easy to put on and take off, handy clip at the end to keep the plug on the spool, 4 power sockets and a power switch. I can't believe I didn't bite the bullet and bought it sooner.

Works great as an extension cord but wrap technique is not very good. My other similar product is included to give you a consistent experience of expanding and completing. This product does not coil up well, so you'll need to coil the cord in place. Often the cord goes beyond the wrap and you have to stop and untangle. Not scary, just a little annoying.

Bought for use with a 120v pressure washer. The built-in fuse blows as soon as I turn it on. every time All 4 plugs are rated for 120 volts, but it can't even handle a 120 volt car at a time. Also the marketing is misleading, it's ONLY the interior. The cable is much thinner than I thought. Not hardy. This is a great extension cord with a strong but flexible cord, overall it just feels like a quality product. However, I wanted to comment on another review that mentioned poor slip ring contact. It cannot have slip rings, the exit face rotates with the spool, the slip rings will only be present if they are stationary while the spool rotates around them. Most likely, these are strong connections with sockets.

My husband always buys weird stuff from Revain and when it came I was like 'what the hell was he thinking?' I love this cord reel and the convenience of four sockets which allows me to move around the garden without using other sockets. I prefer this reel model to the original two models which I bought with a 10ft extension cord plugged into an outlet. The short handle interfered with winding the line. On this model, the 10 foot extension has been removed and the handle moved to the other side of the reel where the cable can be quickly reeled in. So glad I made the switch.

Thought it would be better than tangled power cords. And yes, having four sockets in one is a huge benefit. The problem with this device, however, is that the cord gets snagged as it winds onto the reel. There is no routing and the cable is the same size as the gap on either side. No matter how straight you try to wrap the cord, it gets tangled and you have to stop and constantly untangle it. It's much faster to use an extension cord. On the plus side, it has four outlets and a circuit breaker.
