Compatible with DD-WRT!: Router

I replaced my ISP's horrible router with a couple of these bad guys after flashing them with dd-wrt. This router can handle a fully functional custom firmware build. I haven't used the stock firmware at all, but I don't recommend using anything closed source. Generally this is the rule. It supports free, open-source firmware and is affordable. An excellent choice for a home network.

Pros
  • Positive Only
Cons
  • Running

Wrong power supply was shipped

Came with a 5v power supply but the router requires 12v Luckily I have some old power supplies in my basement and found one with the right specs . Other than that, it seems to be working fine. It came with outdated firmware, but that's to be expected. I updated it to the latest firmware and the update went without any problems.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No form required

Adapter Error: Router

The installation failed at the end of autoplay. It turned out that the power supply was defective. Luckily I had one laying around and was able to complete the installation. The router seems to be working fine. Guest signal is very useful when you have many guests who want to log in from their devices.

Pros
  • Solid Surface
Cons
  • No Performance
