I am very disappointed with this product. I recently bought this for my guests and thought it would make a great bed. I opened the box and the mattress smelled awful, like rotten cheese and vomit. I thought that's how it should be and it needs to be aired. I've left it on the balcony to air out for 2 weeks now and it still smells disgusting. I was planning to return it but it looks like the return window is closed and I am very disappointed that the product cannot be used.

Despite the one star ratings, this bed holds up. It's comfortable and the mattress isn't thin. The slats are made in European style and are more reliable. The lock works well but the thick mattress has to be slid between the frames at the top. Then it closes without a problem. If assembled correctly, it cannot fall apart. All memory foam; what I know is a bit soft and you can leave a handprint on it for a moment, for example. It's more like old foam.
