DO NOT BUY! for Sport

This item sucks! Cheap materials! I installed this professionally, it broke in less than 2 miles. Unfortunately, 4 days had passed "outside Revain's return window" by the time my installer was finished. Do not buy this switch!

Good replacement for parts and components

This was a good replacement for my 30 year old Schwinn 10 speed. It would be easy to install if I had the means to break the chain. Since this was the case, I had to remove the bolt holding the bottom gear and bend the shaft on the top gear. However, the screw is an Allen key, but metric. I have no metric. So I used my Dremel tool to carve a slot in the head and used a wide bladed screwdriver.

Avoid, very poor quality.

Installation was easy so 2 stars and honestly took 1.5 rides before a small twig touched it and it broke off like in the photo and got stuck between the rear wheel spokes if I didn't stopped fast it could make me fly possibly forward and badly damage my rear wheel, i know it's a cheap rear derailleur but it's beyond substandard, it's life threatening to anyone who uses it, i can't now get back once .

Favorable because: switch and shift lever

This is a shift error. Installation is tedious due to the lack of a locking mechanism and the cable adjuster on the shifter becoming loose while riding. Shifts are abysmal even when set up in store; The chain slipped when I pedaled hard. An idler wheel rumbled, causing the cage to get stuck in my rear cassette, which broke the other wheel and bent the cage. It also damaged my cable. I'm a mountain bike rider who gets on the podium; I know what I am doing. I bought these because I didn't want to

Poorly done fake

Bought this derailleur for my 70's 10 speed Huffy daughters. Installation was easy but setup was difficult. Used in conjunction with a Shimano Tourney Trigger front derailleur designed for 5/6 speed shifting (5.5mm tooth spacing center to center). I thought it was genuine Shimano gear but from the setup it appeared to be fake with very little quality control. Shift points were extremely difficult to set as what worked for 1st gear didn't work for 4th/5th. gear worked. The derailleur also does…
