I love this color, it is very beautiful with sparkles

I love this color and it is very beautiful with sparkles! However I am SO disappointed that there was a knot and with thick yarn the knot is too big to try to work in my project. I have many other colors and they are knotless.

Super Soft Bulky Yarn

I like thick and fast yarn. I sometimes have problems with wool, but I had no problems with this yarn. They are very soft. What you can't see with this color is that it's a true red with small metallic flecks. People ALWAYS comment when I wear it!

Love it! Great for warm Christmas gifts

I made this into a star embroidered hood and matching hat (hood pattern from The Crochet Workshop). It turned out great! I highly recommend this yarn. A bit of glitter is great for those who want a little extra flair. Great holiday yarn for gifts/projects.

The seller's title is not entirely correct, but the description below the title is correct.

FYI: this is NOT 92 METERS long as the title would have you believe; However, the description provided by the seller under the title is correct in that it is 92 yards. ;) It's easy to get confused when you look at the description on the skein packaging. To be clear, this strand is 84 METERS long which equals 92 YARDS. For me this was extremely important because I bought this skein for a specific project and there was barely enough yarn. Losing that extra 8 meters was a big problem! The yarn…

Fun to work with this yarn

Lion Yarn 640-306 Wool-Ease Thick and fast Yarn, Poinettia It was great to find an even wider range of colors online This yarn is very fun and easy to work with, makes beautiful hats and my favorite kind is a little "family" of thick, fast yarns to go into a metal thread is woven into it.

Good color choice and excellent yarn

I bought this yarn in two colors and while I didn't like the metallic threads in the poinsettia color (the red is lovely), I really like the colors in the fossil. The yarn looks so pretty with my camel coat and I'm excited to start knitting the hood. It also has rust on it, gray and off-white or off-white. I use this yarn for hats, scarves, jackets and handbags. Works so well for me and my projects.

Look out for short prints, stripes and metallics

This is a great yarn for quick projects. But a word of caution: BE CAREFUL: Prints (like Blackstone), stripes and metallics (like Galaxy) are lighter and longer than plains, tweeds and heather (5oz/87yd vs. 6oz/106yd). This is not a product defect and is clearly stated on the Lion brand website (check first before ordering if you have questions about choosing a colour). Make sure you buy an extra strand if you're buying a color scheme that's shorter. Too bad I didn't check before I ordered.
