It was fun yarn

It was fun yarn. Each color section is long and creates a cute stripe pattern on these baby hats. The yarn is easy to process and has good elasticity. It's soft enough. These hats were knitted on size 4 12 inch circular needles.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Functionality

the quality is first class.

Lion is a quality yarn to me. It doesn't tear and is soft to the touch. I knit a lot for charity, like baby blankets, baby sweaters and hats. I knit blankets for the disabled, seniors and war invalids. I also mostly knit hats for the homeless.

Pros
  • This medium-weight sports yarn in beautiful pastel colors and patterns makes expensive, durable garments
Cons
  • boring packaging

Attention knitters! Beware of different batches of dye

My order of 8 skeins came in two packs, each with a different batch of colors. Instead of 8 skeins from a batch of dyes, I now have 5 skeins of one and 3 skeins of the other. If I could figure out how to do this I would return 1 skein of 1 batch of color and the entire pack of 3 skeins. Knitters know that's not good!

Pros
  • 3 Light: DK, light worsted; Solids: 5 oz (141 g), 459 yards (420 m); Prints: 4 oz (113 g), 367 yards (336 m)
Cons
  • Legacy model

The variations template wasn't what I was looking for.

I wanted this yarn to be added to a white baby blanket I'm making and was hoping it would end up looking like little flowers on the blanket. The length of each color is too long for this effect. A single crochet measured over 12 inches before changing color. It was the yarn indicated on the chart, but something was wrong. I was disappointed with the effect.

Pros
  • 60% Acrylic, 40% Polyamide
Cons
  • Fine Fabric
