Looks terrible - yarn

Also the scarf is not knitted so that the fibers do not look torn and fluffy. Yarn quality degrades with very little handling, things I've knitted looked like they were put on before anyone had a chance to put them on.

Great yarn! in knitting and crocheting

The Lion brand is amazing. This yarn is fantastic. So soft and fast for projects. I can usually make an oversized hat out of it. Cambridge Tweed is really great for people who have a lot of black in their wardrobe but want to add some colour.

I love this yarn and found a great deal.

I love this yarn and found it at Revain for a great price of about Β£2.75 each. However when I went back to buy more to finish the quilt I am making for my husband unfolded the price was over $8.00 each. For real? For 4 ounces of yarn? I like it, but I make a blanket, or did until I saw the higher prices. Must shop elsewhere like Joannes.

Interesting idea but doesn't work well

After working with his yarn I decided I didn't like it. I was expecting the main color to be darker, black to be exact. There weren't many color spots in the photos of the samples. When processed, this yarn has the look of recycled fabric, which is what you see in furniture upholstery. It's really not an attractive sight. Also, small scraps of extra yarn make my knitting look very messy.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • unreliable

Very soft and fluffy yarn

Very soft. Normally I'm a fan of natural fibers and this mixture of 94% acrylic and 6% viscose really won me over with its softness and pleasant workmanship. I don't give it 5 stars because the yarn is much shorter than I expected considering the volume of the scarf (it took me 8 skeins to make a scarf! It was a very fluffy and warm scarf) and because the fibers are sometimes a bit are loose. They can very easily unravel or split at the needles. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner just…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
