🦁 Lion Brand Yarn Rewind yarn in Mahogany Rose: A Beautiful Blend of Elegance and Warmth Review

From this yarn I knit a scarf in the form of a ribbon for my mother. I was afraid that the cloth would not be soft enough. But after using the ribbon yarn in the knitting process, the scarf became soft and cozy for mom. And this color is great!

I am a beginner knitter and this yarn was very easy to work with. I knitted a scarf out of it and tied the two strands together. Nice light fabric. I didn't come across many, if any, Capri Breeze color knots. However, I am working on another vintage pink color project and have already encountered a few knots.

I knitted a tote bag especially for this yarn. It was similar to raffia but much softer. Yarn was easy to work with. I only gave it 4 stars because it seemed to tear very easily, which forced me to pull back stitches to the beginning of the row several times because I don't like knots in the middle of my projects. It also created extra endings, which I don't like doing either.

I use this yarn for hats and sun bonnets. It is very soft yet very textured, perfect for making the items above. If you hate knots in balls of yarn this yarn is not for you as I tried 5 balls of this yarn and each of them had a knot. This doesn't bother me as I've almost never had a knotless skein of any brand. It's rarely congestion when this happens. The patterns are from a krazykabbage st tropez sun hat and a sewrella june sun hat.

I've always been a fan of Lion Brand Yarn. One of the sites where I get crochet patterns from used yarn to make a bag. Instead of replacing this with a more traditional yarn I gave this a try. It's a little strange to hold in your hands at first, but once you get the hang of it, the yarn is very cool. It almost looks like raffia, but as soon as you hold it in your hands you will feel how soft it is. Almost like a velvety texture. It is not brittle or even hard. They look like ribbon yarn but…
