🚗 Lippert 281281 Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit 3" Axle 5.2K - 8K: Enhanced Suspension System for Smooth Ride Review

I spoke to the orders team and they were very helpful, I really appreciate the local company to speak to. I was concerned about ordering (after reading several reviews that others had not received all parts of their kit). I ordered 2 sets (tandem axle trailers) and everything was included as expected. I don't have it installed at the moment but will update this review once installed. So far I am very happy with the quality of these products and the company that sells them.

Mounting brackets and gas struts came as expected and were easy to install. The only problem I had was that I bought 3 pairs for a 3 axle 4x4 with fifth wheel. Only one pair came with LGL mounting hardware. One pair was missing shock absorbers, washers and nuts. Another kit that was missing parts was missing the 1/2-inch nuts and washers for the U-bolts. I spent three hours at car dealerships, Lowe's, Home Depot and Fastensl to get parts. It only lasted 4 hours. install all 6 dampers and chase…

These two items (shock absorber kits 281281) were to be fitted to my 2 axle motorhome, one set per axle, one shock absorber per wheel. One set was opened and the items in the box were packed free. Turns out the sender did this, not the carrier, as the other package contained the shock absorbers in a separate box that was unassembled. However, the parts were exactly as I ordered, so I fitted the brackets to the first axle and found that four rubber shock absorbers were missing from the package…
