🚪 Lippert Components 859794 Screen Defender: Premium Aluminum Protector for 30-inch RV Entry Door Screens Review

Fits my camper door perfectly. The measurement is somewhat misleading. They don't come measured from the screen door. Use the front door frame size or look for a label on the door frame that states the size of the door, my front door is 30" (size protection ordered) and my screen door is about 28" where it fits (again, 30" is the one correct value for this door)

Our 60 lb dog loves the breeze but will paw at the door if you go 3 seconds without him. He almost broke the window on our old van and escaped. This screen looks like it will prevent damage to the new RV screen door. It was easy to install and NO TOOLS NEEDED. I like the looks. I love that it didn't hurt and I love that we can take it with us when we change doors or campers again. The screen is lightweight but durable. Happy camping!

I really liked this door guard, it would work great for protecting my cats indoors and in my RV if they were bigger. We have the Cardinal 2020. Actual screen width 29 inches, door width 31-1/2 inches. I was wrong, rounded up to 30 and that was the largest size they have. Unfortunately, the actual tread for a 30" door is 26-1/2". It would be very easy to install by simply sliding the base into place and pulling on the two spring loaded tabs at the top to set it in place. Will have to return. Too

Opinions were mixed on this but I decided to take a chance as our 2 small dogs quickly tore up the screen. I measured the hole in the doorway and rounded it according to the instructions. Pieces of the bottom filler fell out until he realized he had to press them firmly against the bottom edge of the door and then slide the top piece back into place. Firstly this screen is for Lippert doors only. Do not follow Amazon's sizing instructions. Find the sticker on the inside of your Lippert door that says your door size and order that size. ONE, I'm pretty good at reading instructions, but when I'm determining what measurements I need, the instructions say to measure the doorway and then go up 1/2 inch.
