Description of Liquitex BASICS Matte Fluid Medium

Improves the flow of color for blending as well as increasing transparency. Can be mixed with Basics Acrylic colors for an extra matte finish. When mixed, extends the volume of thin paint. Perfect adhesive for photo collages. ACMI certified. Conforms to ASTM d4236; safe for educational use

Makes your colors come alive. This is one of the best.

Liquitex is your best choice. There are inexpensive alternatives. Don't be stingy if you don't want your pics to go crazy. Great flow and transparent layers. As a result, your acrylic paintings are much more colorful and can keep the chalky look. Please do not apply to oil paint!

Good dilution medium.

This is a great product for thinning acrylic paints or creating your own colour, fill, tint or contrast and I am very happy with it. The color looks semi-matte and not very glossy if that's what you're looking for in your paints.

You should see this

I have purchased Liquitex Matte Fluid and Iridescent Medium. I use Hobby Hall Master Touch acrylics and they are great but need to be diluted with water to use on larger projects. Also, they have a strange texture and a very glossy surface, which makes it difficult to mix colors. As soon as I added the matte medium, they instantly turned into perfect acrylics, using almost as much as without them. GOT IT! There's a learning curve, but it's easy to get used to. 100% recommended for all…

Not suitable for sealing stickers.

Okay, maybe I bought this with the wrong idea. I visit many national parks and love to take stickers to put on my fridge. Well I hit my radiator so hard when the decals come off. I thought it was a good product to rub onto stickers to seal them. Unfortunately it isn't. I'm really not sure what the stuff is for to be honest. It was messy and looked more like liquid elm glue. I gave up quickly and when I accidentally walked into a store on a business trip, I found a can of "mod-podge" that…
