Rugged design and good construction is to be expected from Lisle. So far this pan has held oil well and there have been no leaks. I like the oval shape because it gives you more room to accommodate large spills that may not drain cleanly. It seems durable and I feel confident in my decision not to purchase the extended warranty Amazon offered me. Extended oil pan warranty? For real?

Used this weekend on my Porsche Macan GTS which holds 9 liters of oil. 9 quarts was about 2/3 of the way up the spout, in case you're wondering. The low profile made it easy to move under the car. Draining the used oil back into the 5 liter jugs was very easy with a funnel. The shape allowed me to stand it upright and drain the remaining oil into a 5 liter jug. Cleaning was quick and easy with a small amount of white solvent such as mineral spirits. There is no doubt that this unit is strong…

I have not used these. About 500 km left until the oil change. It's a lot stronger than I thought as it's just a layer of plastic. I filled it about halfway with water, more than the five liters I would fill for an oil change, and didn't spill a drop. The filler neck is 1" in diameter so it fits most oil containers without spilling. Please note that it's huge as it can hold 10-11 liters of oil if I remember correctly. But overall I would definitely buy again and will probably buy a few as gifts
