Cheaply made, fell apart on first use

One of the whetstones came loose on first use, looks like it was just glued on which is not good for a tool that needs to be strong. I've had good luck with Lisle tools, but this one should be skipped. i will return it

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Cheap design hand tools

One of the 'handles' popped out on first use causing the stone to break off the metal base as well. Lisle autotools are usually pretty decent, but this particular tool is rubbish. My previous sharpening lasted over 30 years. Not recommended.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

My compressor's small and large cylinders fit

It fits both the small and large cylinders on my 50 year old Saylor-Beal two stage air compressor. The stones were long enough to take up quite a bit of wear that showed once I started sharpening. A bullet or cranberry stick couldn't do it, they would just camouflage it. Light oil was used throughout the process, after which a beautiful hatch pattern was obtained. The compressor works like new, shakes a little more cubes. feet per minute than specified and will not pick up oil.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
