Handy tool, a bit overpriced but worth it!

Not the cheapest piece of metal but it saved me a lot of time when I was working with a radiator, water pump etc. I thought it was a one time tool but I've used it at least 5-10 times. the last few months (I've been working on a restoration of a 1994 Ford Ranger)

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not bad

Worked well to remove the fan on a 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320

I used this tool to remove the fan on a 1998 Mercedes ML 320 and it worked well. The tool fits perfectly but is a bit short. To add leverage to loosen the nut, I used a pry bar with a wheel stud bushing that fits into the tool's hook. Once the nut moved, I could turn it by hand. I also used the BMW Water Pump Pulley Holding Tool as a lever, which is perfect for the bolts on my ML's water pump pulley. The holding tool used is this: www.amazon.com/dp/B007TYUAVO.

Pros
  • Very impressive

  • Disappear

Yes, it needed more control to prevent slipping, but it still did the job. I guess Lisle doesn't guarantee it'll be done that way, but I'm not worried about how little I use it. I plan on buying a full set of these keys in the future, but this worked in a pinch and was a lot easier than doing it by hand with two different…
