Terminal tools work on conventional terminals as well as Pack-Con and Weather-Pack terminals found on many GM vehicles. New blue terminal tool fits many Ford applications. Not strong enough. Bends too easily

When I was trying to unscrew the spark plugs in a 53 year old truck, I took them out to disassemble the wiring. Ease of use was great. The cost was decent. Strength? I bent most of them. It may be easier to disassemble the wiring harness in new cars, but old cars have old wiring. This tool was not designed for destruction. I'm looking at a different style for the next project. Seems to be a quality tool.

The tool appears to be well made, but apparently I didn't read the description very carefully. I couldn't even use any tools other than two wires. I have a 1970's Mopar and had to remove the "balls" from the plastic connector in the ignition switch. So it appears that one tool is dedicated to Ford products and their connector configurations, another tool is dedicated to GM and a third is called "universal". None of the tube tool positions were big enough to make the 5 wires I needed to make…

Much easier than poking yourself with an old rusty dental tool or an ice pick, or finding a piece of small metal tubing, maybe from a flux brush - you don't remember it being saved because 'you might need it one day.'
