🔧 Lisle 58500 Shaft Hook/Seals Review

This is for 1 (one) spare bit for the tool shown in the photo. I feel a little deceived. Only one place in the ad says the tool is not included and that it is not in the public domain!

puller works fine. First tap the seal inwards to break the handle, then use a puller to pull outwards. Small fills require loops to narrow and shorten the hook, which can loosen and break. Hence the need for spare parts. Lyle is good company.

Trying to remove the shifter seal in the most inaccessible spot, this tool finally came loose. We bought several other fill tools but none of them were able to remove this fill. This one made it after 2 attempts and was by far the cheapest.

Ordered 6 months ago and received the main product with an extra nozzle. I used it to pull the camshaft oil seal out of a Sienna van. Last month (July 2021) I ordered another one and only got a tip. The second time I ordered with a Revain service fix. However, another order came just for tip. I declined and asked for a refund. Revain needs to make some corrections to allow the main tool to be included in the order.

worked very well on my '99 accord 4cyl balance shaft oil seal. Other seal removers will not fit between wheel arch and engine. A puller is not usually needed here, but I installed the replacement gasket too deep and oil leaked out. This tool saved my life! I just had to swap the nut/bolt head for better leverage and viola, seals removed. YouTube videos sold me. I even bought extra attachments for fear they were too weak. Had not. This is a clean and easy to use tool.
