📱 LITEX RCI-103 Universal Remote Control: Three Speeds & Full Range Dimming in White, Compact Design 4.50x0.50x2.50 Review

Controls the Litex fan and light via the paired remote, but does not power the Hampton LED light. There was a problem with the lightbulb, it flickered when the water heater was turned on. Easy wiring.

Remote works after I paid an electrician $85 to install it. I couldn't use the remote control, just put the batteries in and it worked. It needs to be connected. This remote control was missing cables. The electrician had to change the wiring to make it work. After that it works. It's not plug and play.

I thought I had to buy a new fan when I couldn't turn on the light. The fan only uses the remote control. I found this at Revain and it is an identical transmitter/receiver replacement that came with a fan over 10 years ago. The remote unit is different but more modern and works great. The buttons on the old one got really hard to press so it was a complete overhaul!

Easy to install and functional. It's nice to be able to remotely control our fan and lights in an area where we have a very high ceiling and don't want to be pulling a chain to control the light or fan speed. We used to have a Litex remote control for this purpose, but it finally gave up the ghost after 20 years. I assume that he has reached his life expectancy. I was happy to find this replacement as apparently I could only find it online.

I believe this product has been repackaged. All the wires were already twisted and the blue wire was still twisting like it had come loose from the overhead light. Unfortunately, this business gets away with it. No instructions, standard double pack sealed with tape, electric caps were in a resealable ziplock bag. I consider myself a pretty good jack of all trades, so I know what's new and what's been used. I installed it anyway and it works.

Attention! Customer: The Litex RCI-103 Universal Learning Remote Control and the included receiver DO NOT WORK with the Litex WCI-100 Wall Mounted Remote Control, even though both are listed in the Commonly Purchased Together section of the product description. The wall switch contains DIP switches and there was nothing I could do to get it to work. I called Litex and they confirmed they would not work together. They also told me they did NOT make a compatible wall switch.
