They used to be very good and could last a long time if you used plastic bags. Now they're made of brittle plastic that won't fit in the cat litter they were designed for. In the newest box, the tops of the shells are curved/deformed so they don't fully penetrate the lid, so the lid doesn't close completely. The bottom part fits well but is very thin and cannot hold normal cat litter. . I'm now on the road 5 days a week and when I come back it hurts to change floors because I can't lift it properly, it folds itself and the trash ends up right on my floor. , as well as the rest of the leftover garbage picked up by the nanny because of the gaps between them. They DO NOT fit the LM 980. They are much thinner than the ones that originally came with the unit. Also, replacement charcoal filters (LitterMaid Odor Absorbing Charcoal Filters, 12-pack) are NOT compatible with these lids. So I spend the same 5 minutes cleaning up the junk and trying to stuff these things into my slots instead of hollowing them out. All of these products are sold by the same company.
