LUXURIOUS AND SUPER SOFT: 70% finest Merino wool blended with 30% pure Tussah silk in a minimally processed 1ply super bulky yarn. NOT SUITABLE FOR ARM KNITTING: Please use large Needles US 15-19 (10-15 mm) or large Crochet Hook Size P or S (15-19mm). This yarn is light and airy and should be worked with very little tension. LOFTY AND SOFT: ELEGANCE is a single ply yarn which means that it is a single, lofty strand of pencil roving. Your completed pieces will have an airy texture, super softness and unsurpassed cozyness!. QUANTITY: Skein of 4 ounce/71 yards (110 grams/65 meter). You will need 2 skeins for a generous scarf and 6-10 skeins for a throw. The yarn in this set cannot be knitted. It wears out about every 2 feet.

This package CANNOT be used. Apparently it came from an agricultural cooperative in the west and is so brittle that you can't even make a ball out of it without it falling apart a few feet. None of this was clearly stated in the product description.

Nice to work!

What I love about this fine merino silk blend is its wonderfully soft texture. Nothing itches and knits quickly. It may disconnect from time to time, but the reconnect instructions are simple and work. I have just completed a hood and am very happy with the results. I know that I will do more than Christmas gifts. Thank you!

Lovely yarn, nice to work with and great

Love this yarn and will be buying more. Such cute things to work with! And great. My girlfriend has stage 3 ovaries and will have chemo for 4 months. I wanted to knit a long hood that can be used both as a headpiece and as a scarf (and the hood means it won't fall to the ground if you're too weak to pick it up). I wanted very soft, very light but natural fibers. This is the perfect combination of merino and silk. Of course it's a tramp; however, it is coherent enough. You just have to beโ€ฆ
