DO NOT BUY the best in the sport

Not enough to wrap a handlebar! This handlebar tape will not stretch, leaving your bike's handlebars exposed! I will never buy again.

Pros
  • Handlebars, Stems & Stems
Cons
  • Some bugs

Looks, feels and performs like the best on the market.

The best bar tape. Lightweight, flexible and durable. The end cap is fantastic and makes your beautiful bike look even better with this sleek look.

Just not a good band

This is a comfortable band but not durable. I have always wrapped my handlebars and have never had as many problems as I have with this tape. Unfortunately, for longer gravel rides, the band needs to be comfortable. The instructions say not to stretch it, but you should stretch it a bit so it doesn't unravel. After 4 rides of 25-50 miles it is already spreading and starting to peel off. Just not happy with it. I'm going to get a Bontrager band which I've never had any problems with.

It doesn't pay to be the best at sport

As others have reported this tape has serious durability and holding issues - after only a few hundred miles the tape has slipped in several places. In a 3 inch segment, the surface of the tape (the glossy black part) completely separated from the substrate. I have never seen a bar tape fail like this over thousands of miles and have never had adhesion issues like this. On the plus side it was fairly comfortable before going down. So here's what. For me it was a failed (expensive) experiment…

Cons
  • Obsolete model

I like plush.

I like the softness of this tape. Feels like a thicker baseball bat handle. The downside is they claim you won't run out of packaging and if you're using a basic bar setup I'm guessing that's true? I have had these ergonomic chopsticks attached under my stretcher for several years now and love how they have lengthened my grip and reduced fatigue. However, I couldn't use it with this band (due to lack of tension?). I had to remove ALL and just use the panel. This band is thick enough, it seems…
