Renewed Logitech Harmony 665 Universal Remote - 10 Devices - Black Review

The remote control itself is excellent, I used to have this model. But you cannot program a repaired device. When programming, the message "invalid serial number" came up. I called Logitech and they do not repair remotes or support refurbished devices. I highly recommend the remote, but don't buy a refurbished one.

I bought three of these programmable remote controls and have used them for a number of years. Programming via the online application is easy and works perfectly. My only complaint is the physical form of the device. The back is rounded, presumably to fit the hand better, but this makes the device unstable on a flat surface. I have bought 2 of these so far. As the cheapest Harmony with a screen (that I'm aware of) they offer the best value for money. So far only two devices have had problems with it, but both work with a slight training period. My main complaint is that the installer counts devices according to your total device limit (7 I think) even if Harmony can't manage them. It's easy to get around this through customization, but I've seen the less savvy consumers reduce their total number of devices…
