📺 Logitech TV Cam with Google TV for Revue Review

Quality camera at an affordable price. I noticed that it offers very good quality and to be honest it's perfect for the price they charge. YEARS even used for Twitch.tv streaming.

I have a dark background so my face is blurry. This is only meant to work for TVs and is no longer supported. I took a chance on this working on a Win10 PC and it works. I was also able to download the camera settings app but couldn't improve the blur on my face. The rest seems ok

While searching for the webcam I saw some interesting claims about this camera. basically that it won't work. Fortunately, this is not the case at all. It is exactly the same as any other webcam. It is not tied to a service that no longer exists. I hooked it up to a Windows 7 machine, installed the latest drivers from Logitech (as always, beware of packaged junk!), and that was it. As you'd expect, it works with Skype, Google Hangouts, and other apps.

Wow I didn't expect this webcam to be that good! I decided to order it to see if it would work on my Windows 8 Acer desktop and voila. I just plugged it into my USB port and went to the chat site and it automatically turned on and I was able to stream crystal clear! I used a Logi C920 and apart from being a 720p camera this is the same camera for $9. You must get this camera before I buy the rest. It's plug and play with Windows 8. I did a YouTube live stream to try it out and it worked great. no halo. I'm using Movavi Screen Capture Studio 10 for capturing. Some reviewers disagree on whether this camera will work with anything other than the Logitech Revue. I can confirm what others have said it will work fine with a Panasonic plasma from around 2012. The title speaks for itself. This is a Logitech TV Cam or as stated here HDTV Widescreen Camcorder WITHOUT built-in Skype software originally intended for the Logitech Revue.
