Comfort in any weather

I've never had a London Fog coat that wasn't beautiful. They really fit from kid size to adult size. My 5 year old grandson loves the number 5 on his coat. It can easily zip up or snap on a coat. Hidden pockets make it even more magical.

Pros
  • Arrived on time and in perfect condition, perfect fit.
Cons
  • The gray jacket does NOT have a fleece lining as advertised but has a lightweight mesh lining. Not what I wanted.

NOT ON FLEECE - wrong description

I swear by London Fog for spring and fall jackets for my kids. Despite the description, this one doesn't have a fleece lining so I'm disappointed as I was looking for it. Otherwise it's a good raincoat.

Pros
  • That's exactly what I wanted! And the colors are better in real life.
Cons
  • The jacket may not be waterproof, so children may get wet in rain or snow.

The perfect waterproof autumn jacket

Perfect for chilly mornings on the way to school and a nice hood for the rain. So far I'm happy with the quality. Let's see how well it holds up over time.

  • Nice jacket but a little thinner than expected. The inner lining resembles the material of a T-shirt. But overall happy.
Cons
  • The price may be too high for some customers compared to similar products on the market.

You won't get warm in this jacket.

This jacket should be used for autumn weather that is not too cold. This jacket has a lining that doesn't keep you warm at all. I realize some reviews mention this fact, but I was hoping to give it a try.

  • Not as described. Should have been fleece lined but was instead lined with open mesh and only fitted as a rain cover.

Not lined with fleece as advertised. Just a grid. Raincoat only, no insulation.

misleading description. The orange version has no fleece lining at all. It's just a raincoat with a slightly water-repellent shell, just a mesh inside. No fleece at all. Disappointing. Size 8 runs small. Not a huge size difference from our fleece lined London Fog size 7 which our son outgrew.

  • There is a limited range of sizes available, making it difficult to find the right size for some children.

Cold rainy days in my rating

I couldn't get him to take it off and we live in Florida, it didn't rain and it was warm that day. He loves, I love. So happy with everything about this jacket. Perfect for cold rainy days, no freezing snow, but great for cold rainy days, 50 degrees and more. So happy with this purchase.

  • The jacket fits perfectly and is great for wet and cool weather.
Cons
  • The quality of the clothes is good. I bought the XL for my 9 year old boy; it just fits. He's big for his age, but not XL by any brand.

Robust and correct

This jacket has a normal fit, but is a little roomier. Continuous. Warm enough, but not too hot, to keep out the midwest chill and spring breeze.

  • Looks good, my son loves it, just thinner than we expected, more like a windbreaker than a jacket.

  • Windbreaker material may not be as durable as other jacket materials, leading to wear and tear after repeated use.

This jacket is not lined with fleece and I want to read reviews before purchasing. It was this one with the usual thin cotton lining. Very disappointed

Age 7 size 8 in my opinion

I offered this for my son who goes to school. It is a good time for rainy season and autumn. He loves it and wears it all season.

Misleading description

This jacket did not have a fleece lining. It had a mesh lining and it was just a mesh lined raincoat. Of course it will be a windbreaker, but it is not lined with fleece and the mesh will not make it warmer. I was disappointed with this when trying to find a fall jacket for my son, something not too heavy. It was nothing more than the raincoat he already had. It fits well so I didn't send it back, it will work as a backup jacket.

Only some colors have fleece lining

Only some of these colors have fleece lining: currently navy blue/grey, blue/grey and black/grey. The ones with mesh fabric are not lined with fleece and are very light - definitely a summer windbreaker. Not sure if the other colors are actually fleece as the material doesn't look washed out. If you are looking for a very light weight windbreaker then this would be great. However, there is another better boys jacket, the London Fog, which is described as 'midweight' that actually has fleece on…
