Definitely a great toy for children aged 10+. For younger children I think they will need an adult to help them remember everything, weaving even with this tool is a bit difficult.

I liked this item because it was just the right amount of yarn I needed at one time. Some items are too big and bulky, but they aren't. thickness was good. Great for making scarves as I plan on making gifts.

I bought this for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas. The sticks that hold the yarn are a little flimsy, but other than that it was fun. She likes it very much. She loves challenges.

We bought this for our 10 year old daughter who is now crafting. A little frustrating at first but once we got her working she just sat down and went into town! 😂. She loves this loom, next time we will try the one they make for friendship bracelets.

I'm grown up and do needlework. Last year I bought a hard shaft loom. After learning how to use it, I discovered that this type of loom wastes a large amount of yarn just to warp. This little loom would be big enough for hot pads so I bought it. And 3 extension looms for crafting larger items. I had to work with him for about a week before I could make any decent stuff. But I found the weaving quite strange. Not at all like a "real" loom. I will try to return 3 extra.
