Works with Da-Lite Projector Screen

I previously purchased an expensive Da-Lite Projector Screen Automation Interface that did not work. This curtain switch is a hit. I was able to set up a projection screen and connect to Alexa for screen automation. Very easy to install.

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Weak

Suitable for storm blinds

Installation is very simple. My only issue is that a faceplate needs to be used and won't work in a multiple junction box. Wire connections are good. The switch works great with Alexa except it's fully open or fully closed. The smartlife app allows you to partially open or close. Overall, I'm happy with the switch that allows us to remotely close our porch blinds when a storm starts and we're away from our condo.

Pros
  • sockets and accessories
Cons
  • unreliable

Works perfectly. Suitable for sockets and accessories

Starting with the X-10 devices, I have been using home automation since the late 1970s. (I'm not kidding.) For the past twenty years, I've lived in a factory-like house with 30-foot ceilings and two 14-foot by 10-foot interior curtains (actually large awnings) that were one story higher. They're motorized, but whenever I wanted to raise or lower them, I had to go upstairs to flip the switches. A few months ago, it occurred to me that there might finally be a cheap WiFi switch that I could try…

Pros
  • Switch for sockets
Cons
  • Slightly dented
