Excellent quality Thunderbolt.

These sockets are excellent quality (and the packaging says they are made in the USA). I've used others made in other countries but they weren't of the same quality (cracks in the pressing, etc.). They are very easy to apply, and when crimping with a die, the shaft does not crack. They were used in an elementary school project which resulted in a lot of little hands straining the entry and they just kept going with no problems.

Pros
  • Used for hardware, clasps and hooks
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Not professional quality but they are great for my needs.

Worked great. I bought a kit with a punch and nozzle and these interchangeable nozzles. I bought a couple of packs of grommets from another store and they were so sharp on the edges that when you put them on they just cut through the tarp leaving a big hole. They are not rounded at the edges but are smooth enough not to cut through the tarpaulin. Some have complained about the cutter, but the file is fast enough and sharp enough. Not sure why some can't get him to punch a hole. Just put a 2 x 6
