LOUQE Ghost S1 Tophat Mk III (Limestone Review

This was my second order. Revain must have given me the returned item as there were missing screws and stains and tiny scratches on the panels. The second order was shrink wrapped and in perfect condition. Now all I need is M Tophat to complete the build.

Nearly Excellent Build Quality; However, the finish (limestone in my case) doesn't quite suit my case. It's a little lighter. The second one I got was only slightly better, so I guess I'll have to live with that. It's not as bad as some of the photos I've seen of others at least, but for the price of this case it's really disappointing. Also, you almost NEED a long, very thin MAGNETIC Torx T-10 screwdriver if you plan to fill the top with an AIO heatsink.

I have the mk1 version of the case and after not doing enough research before buying the case the GPU is too tall for the case meaning the lid would not close. After ignoring this for 2 years and recently adding a 3.5 hard drive which caused the sidebar not to close, I decided to buy a middle top drive to solve two problems. However, there was a major concern about the color variation for my limestone case, they matched almost perfectly and the top had a slightly cooler tone that is…

It's amazing that the color mismatch problem has existed for so long and hasn't been fixed. The panels on the case are fairly close, although noticeably removed. But for a pounder, the long sides are a warmer shade of white than the short front and back. Very flashy, have to go back and maybe just forego a hat.

The color of the top cover doesn't quite match the color of the Ghost S1. Given LOUQE's self-proclaimed "premium small form factor" chassis, this is absolutely ridiculous. Also, one of the screw holes in the bottom of the lid was a different size than the other three, making it impossible to completely screw the bottom of the lid to the rest of the case. Terrible quality again for a premium case. Absolutely disappointed in LOUQE and will never buy from them again.
