This is EXACTLY what I was looking for

I love to travel and have an EDC (Thule Crossover Backpack 32L) and a separate camera bag (ProTactic 350 AW). By the way, if you need a dedicated camera bag, the 350 AW is as good as it gets, just amazing. The EDC contains my laptop, lanyard case, iPad mini, notepad, clicker, passport, pens, mini car inverter, etc. The photo bag contains my Nikon 1 J5, Nikon D750 and a number of Accessories for charging lenses, etc. d. Sounds great, so what's the problem? Well, you're still here, so let me tell

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Daily Use Camera/Laptop Backpack

PURPOSE:1) As a daily use laptop/camera backpack, my 15.4 inch laptop with charger. This backpack meets and exceeds these requirements and can also be a kind of "shoulder bag". You load the camera from the side, not the top. So if you are carrying a backpack you can take it with your right hand out of the strap, fold over with the left strap, open the camera compartment and take out the camera. A bonus for me as I would settle for a top loading camera backpack. I carry with that Essentials…

I should have bought this bag right away!

A tip: find out which bag you need BEFORE you order it. I had to send the bag back which was fine but not what I needed. This is exactly the bag I needed. The padding is thick and durable and I have quick access to my gear when I need it, but I can also hide the zippers when I don't need them. The top compartment has room for everything I need to take with me on the plane. Any other small compartments and pockets will definitely come in handy. One cool thing Lowepro does is they have little…

You will not regret it

Update from 07/24/2018: Removal of 1 star. This backpack generates a lot of heat in the back. This will make your back sweat. Also, the fabric/texture/design used for the back comes off the polyester/yarn/wool you have on the garment (the ones where the thread is showing). If it's solid cotton, you'll be fine. After trying other camera backpacks this was the one! Just the right size. The first time I used it, I took it with me on a trip to New York. Into the bottom I packed: - 2012 15" MBP…

Great for travel but not good for camping or day trips

I was hoping to find a camera bag that ticked the three boxes: great for travel, great for hiking, and affordable. After looking at a few options I decided that a brand like Lowepro would be the best choice as they have a lot of experience making quality bags that last. I didn't want to invest in a bag that didn't protect my camera properly or a bag that started falling apart within a year. I chose this Fastpack 250 AW because it seems to have enough storage space. The basic gear for a day trip

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • too dumb
