Fits well. Clicks on my sonar's face. I think it could be improved by adding velcro or an adjustable strap around it for extra security when towing the boat.

This is nothing but a piece of plastic protecting the expensive screen. This is a necessary item. For the money we pay for the Elite X7 GPS/FISHFINDER they should have included this device. How much does it cost to make this cheap piece of plastic in MEXICO, but then again, as consumers, we are forced to spend extra money to get the basics. Nothing against the lid, it's tight and nice, but you have to pay $20 plus dollars extra, the Lowrance is CHEAP.

Great product and reasonable price. One star because I had to return an item that I once received because the description said it would fit a 7" hook but definitely will not fit my newly purchased 7" hook. It seems this has since been removed from the description so that's good to see. I hope this product will appeal to those who have Elite 7".

Looks like quality coverage so far. Snaps in well, haven't tried walking with it on the street yet. This is a high quality piece of plastic that feels solid but is only there to protect the screen from screen contact. I would have preferred a design that slopes to protect the screen from the sun while allowing the information on the screen to be seen. I would estimate the actual value of this item to be around $5. This cover should be included automatically with the purchase of the Elite 7, not
