DI does not work in Car & Vehicle Electronics

installed on my HDS 9 Gen 3 and tested on several trips. DI doesn't work, but 2D works fine. When I select the DI option, the screen is just black. Also this converter (or mine) does not read water temperature.

Pros
  • (83/200/455/800) Hybrid Dual Image (HDI) Converter. The power of two award-winning technologies. Broadband Sounder PLUS Exclusive DownScan imaging technology combined to provide the best view under your boat.
Cons

Works great with my Lowrance HDS 10 Gen 2

An excellent converter. As I fish in deep salt water I mostly use lower frequencies but it's nice to have different options. Because of the abundance of marine vegetation in the San Francisco Bay area, I painted my transducer with antifouling paint. I expect this to only last 2-3 years so I hope it does. This creates a nice and clear picture of the water column.

Pros
  • . The HDI Skimmer 455/800 is suitable for stern or trolling motor mounts with any type of hull. Frequency: 83/200/455/000kHz. temperature sensor. stern attachment.
Cons
  • There are nuances
