🚩 💁‍♀️ NO HOUSEHOLD, 💇‍♀️ NO BARBICIDE.

OK SO HERE COMES RONA AND THE WORLD GONE CRAZY AND EVERYONE STARTED BUYING DISINFECTANTS THAT ARE FOR SALONS, VETS ETC. WERE DEVELOPED. FOR THINGS LIKE PEDICURE BATHS, SOLAR BATHS, BODY CLEANSING LIQUIDS ETC. THE TERRIBLE STUFF SHOULD BE USED PROPERLY WITH MANY WARNINGS. NEVER NEAR PETS, CHILD FOOD ETC.! THIS IS NOT A BARBICIDE. IT WILL EAT UP YOUR CALCULATIONS IF IT STAYS IN SOLUTION AND THIS SHOULD REALLY BE GLOVED HANDLED. WE WIP CHAIRS AND BOWLS. BUT IT IS USED SO BECAUSE OUR OTHER IS…

Pros
  • There is some truth to that
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Penny Per Dollar

This is literally the BEST value when it comes to sanitizer. Most disinfectants require 10 minutes on surfaces during their "kill time" to be effective. It takes ONE MINUTE! It also cost around $0.27 to shuffle instead of over $2 for its number one competitor. Owning a salon means time is money and sanitizing after EVERY client. It's my not-so-secret weapon. THE BEST!

Pros
  • All Purpose Hospital Disinfectant Spray
Cons
  • Not as thick as other products

Good Home Cleaning Disinfectant

This cleaner/disinfectant is for businesses that work with hair, skin, nails, etc. I think it can be used as a household cleaner but I think it would definitely work in salons, hairdressers, spas etc. The bottle has very precise instructions on what can be soaked for a long time (plastic combs) and what needs to be taken out after 10 minutes (all metal). It has a pleasant smell and color, and I'm willing to bet that it actually kills all sorts of fancy germs and bacteria. I used it a little but

Pros
  • For use on all hard surfaces in hairdressers, nail salons, spas, at home and in all public places.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I don't have a common area or decon room, but I have several floors that can use it. I have many animals that come from outside the paddock. It is not known what they will bring into the house, so I have to disinfect the floors. It is not a concentrate and does not need to be diluted with water. I probably poured a smaller amount into the atomizer for convenience. What I did was pour something directly onto one of the floors I wanted to make. Not a large amount, but rather small doses, so to…

Pros
  • Kills and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
