CAUTION WHEN OPENING THE PACKAGING!

I just received this tape measure about 20 minutes ago, it took me AT LEAST 10 MINUTES to remove it from the packaging. The plastic packaging was very thick and had sharp edges, having to be careful opening it could easily cut my fingers. It's very difficult, which I didn't expect. Besides, I am sure that he will do the necessary work. The packaging needs an overhaul and someone could easily cut themselves. I don't normally write reviews but felt the need to do so.

I think this is my favorite...

I ordered this and a Fastcap tape measure. Although I like both for different reasons, I think I prefer this one. It's a little easier to read. If Fastcap could have a fraction instead of decimals on both sides, it could be a tie. Also, if Fastcap has white letters on black or black on yellow, it could be at the top. Honestly, if you're left-handed, you can't go wrong. And to be honest, I never had any problems with the "normal" tape measure, I just wanted to try the "left" one. Again, to be…

The product is (more or less) fine; killer pack

I ALMOST had to go to the ER with a cut I sustained from a utility knife while trying to cut through the thick plastic packaging of this pup's bank vault. There are no instructions on how to open it safely, and I couldn't figure it out, so I used a stationery knife. I had to press hard enough to make it slip and the rest can be added. I understand the need to protect yourself from theft, but now it's gone too far - this is far from the only inexpensive product with the same problem. And I have…

I like it but not "6 "

This is a good tape measure. It glides well, cleans well and has a belt clip. The best part is fractions on one side and decimals on the other, which is very convenient. The only thing I don't like about it is that on a recent project I had to measure 6 inches several times. The number "6" has a dash underneath it to help you distinguish it from "9". But I kept confusing the 6" line with the 6" line. The line under number 6 is about 6 1/4 inches long. I caught myself marking 6 inches on the…

Very annoying to unpack

I got four of these as I work in the maintenance department and needed a pair of tape measures. It was very difficult to get the tape out of the box and it took me two tapes to figure out the best way to do it. You need to take a knife and open the back, cut along the punched lines (the punched dotted lines do not open - they give little), pry open the cardboard with a screwdriver and tear off, then lift the metal belt with the screwdriver clip enough to to release the plastic hole where they…
