This product has lived up to the literature. It's hard to find a fan that puts out more air than this one and that was the reason for the purchase. Cooler is better than looking pretty. It's quiet and was balanced out of the box, although a balance kit is included. bought platinum. Not as nice as metal, but not bad. We had no trouble installing and left the codes where they were. I was told that the light does not dim much, which is typical of LED lighting. Very satisfied.

Sold as a new fan by amazon.com but when I opened it I could clearly see it was open (could see marks of people trying to screw into the hole and little Damage around holes. Scratches on the blade). Since I needed a fan for the summer, I didn't want to go back and buy a new one. It seems to be working very well so far. Good fan, very quiet. I had to get an 18" x 1/2" sch 40 pipe from Home Depot, cut the ends, drill a 1/4" clearance hole in both ends and paint. The installation instructions are very poor. I recommend the fan to assemble with the wings lay on the floor and hang as a whole I will install the same fan in my bedroom, good luck with the installation.
