I was hesitant to purchase this gadget since it looked like another generic potato masher. But after trying it, I was surprised to find that it was much better than the previous one I had. It makes mashing potatoes much easier and faster. Through trial and error, I found that it worked best when using a slight twisting motion. The masher is also very comfortable to hold and doesn't require too much effort to use. The only downside is that it may not be suitable for getting into tight spaces.

I couldn't figure out how this thing works. I managed to get the lid off a jar but it was very sharp when it came off and it didn't seem to come off like it should. It was difficult to manoeuvre. But. it could be user error.

only complaint is that it's quite heavy (hard) to turn. Even my very strong and muscular husband says it! I can crank it, but it takes strength. I always think, is that so, or is it maybe a defect?
