Disappointed with the timer as the time remaining "0" does not match the top of the timer. It rings two minutes before reaching zero and continues ticking a little later. Also, you need to stay close as the "bell" is very short and you might miss it when it's time to take what you're cooking/baking out of the oven.

I've had one like this for decades. But for the last few years I've been using a fancy battery powered timer that always seemed to go off at the wrong time. It's been so difficult lately to find one of those good old simple products that still work and do what you ask them to do. I'm so glad I found this.

Works well - just remember to spin it past the 30 minute mark and then back again when using the 10-15 minute timer. I was surprised that the ring was long - like a telephone. I had an old example from the USA that my mother had given me. She worked for about 50 years and then quit. I'm curious how long this will last.
