I ordered this ink shortly after receiving my new Canon printer. I decided that I would need black fillers soon. The original black ink was a smaller version and it lasted a couple of weeks and then we were gone. This new ink fits the old cartridge exactly. Started out rough, worked fine. When I started I ripped off a piece of plastic, then a green sticker and a pink sticker. I could only print forms and headers in grayscale. No documents and areas that I entered in the forms. The printer's black registration worked for me. I was confused. I requested a refund and it turns out they are top notch in that area too. These cartridges work better than Canon inks! Rather than aligning the printheads and all that is recommended, I actually attempted to print a page to see what would happen and the page printed right after I put the cartridge in. The only annoying thing is that the printer sends an 'Ink Low' error message stating that my job may not print - Canon wants to make sure you're paying twice as much for their ink - but I'm ignoring that, me still print great every day.
