Powerful Sealant for High-Temperature Bonding

As my tests showed this silicone adhesive seals and bonds strongly even under extreme heat .Its ability to withstand temperatures up to 2300°F is impressive. However, the application can be a bit thick and messy if not used carefully. Overall, Lynn Manufacturing Superwool Sealcote Temperature is a reliable choice for high-temperature bonding..

Pros
  • Resistant to high temperatures up to 2300°F.
Cons
  • May require multiple coats for optimal sealing.

Doesn't provide enough sealing ability to seal cracks in Chimenea

To be honest I'm not sure what the exact purpose of this is but I've tried using this material to bridge the crack in the ceramic chemistry to seal. For my application it didn't work at all. Directions for use were unclear/missing and a week after application the material had not sealed the crack and was not very hard. It was chalky and powdery and easily removed with a himei brush.

Pros
  • . Made in the USA by Morgan Thermal Ceramics Part #: 42348211140080
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price
