I have so many wild birds here and because of the drought and lack of natural products I fill up water bowls and throw away a handful of peanuts every day. This peanut is great. It used to cost about $20 which was a lot. Now that price is just crazy. He went from cheapest to most expensive. It wasn't the highest quality product, but for the price it was fair. I bought a 15 lb bag for $23.99 in late June. I've been paying for this for several months. In August they rose to $34.12. In this last bag I received, the peanuts crumble into dust. Before this bag I never had a problem with peanuts, birds and squirrels loved them. Now, in early September, they cost $46.28. I will no longer be able to feed the critters outside peanuts (crumbs) as the price has more than doubled in 2 months!

Now the time has come and I've found three things - birds love them, there's nothing in the bag but peanuts , and the price can't be beat for the pound.
