I spent most of Friday getting this unit to do what I bought it to do (transfer music from a studio hookup to a laptop) without Success. Very unpleasant transaction (the first one was sent to the wrong address). I put one star because I couldn't put less!

I was satisfied with the product for 3 weeks. Then my headphones went into audio only mode. I removed and reconnected it with no change. The audio would not let me select USB 3.5 for input.

Corsair HS50 Pro headphones bought to use with my PS4 and with this adapter I was able to use them perfectly with my PC. This adapter should work with any headset with a headphone and microphone, but only with a 3.5mm plug. No drivers required, worked once I connected everything on Windows 10. Unobtrusive!

The headset jack on our Chromebook is defective. This USB audio jack (stereo speakers, monaural mic) worked great! Drivers were not loaded, worked without problems.

I bought this because I work from home with an old laptop given to me by our IT department which has separate microphone and headphone jacks. I don't use it for anything other than a phone. I don't know about these connectors but the IT guy told me I need a connector like the one in the picture to make it work. Too bad I didn't buy it sooner, hunched over the laptop for almost 1.5 months and yelling into it was stupid.

I bought one of these and it worked great. I gave it to my dad when his output jack gave up and bought another one that doesn't stay plugged in and resets my audio settings. I'm buying a third to try again.

I didn't like the volume control as I can't see it (and it's on the laptop). I didn't rate gaming because I don't use it for that. This is a very small profile and comes with a plastic cap to protect it. Ideal for stowing in your laptop bag. It works - don't know why some reviewers had issues.
