This lens cap does not affect the quality of the camera. It's easy to install as it slides/snaps onto the camera device, it's not a self-adhesive cover (thank goodness). The camera cover snapped right onto my C922x webcam. The lid opens and closes easily and feels like it will last for a while. It is also nice that the lid can be opened up or down as desired. Blocks the entire lens when closed, can't see in the frame when open (unless you open the lens hood fully).

I should have measured beforehand but this cover will not snap onto the Logitech C920. I didn't want to use stickers or notes that would leave marks on the camera lens, so this cap works. It's a little pricey for a piece of plastic, but it completely covers the camera lens. This requires some adjustments every time I use my webcam, but the lid stays up. If it bothers me enough I can just glue the sides.

great and cool security product but not easy to attach to camera. You have to force it to install and it doesn't end up being 100 percent installed either. but during this time the product can do what you bought it for. That's why I didn't send it back. I can use it, it works and I choose to install wit so it's ok for me =)

I ordered a Logitech 920x as the 920 - the one with the privacy shutter - was completely sold out due to the pandemic. Had to purchase this third party clasp. It works great. It doesn't hang around the camera and the lid stays up when open. True, it was a bit difficult to attach at first. For those having trouble installing to your 920/920x, place the bottom of the cover first, then snap the top into place. The plugging didn't work for me at first.

I was surprised to see a webcam cover made specifically for a specific webcam after several years of relying on tape for my desktop webcam.
