Another Ram 3rd Fix Brake Light

As the other guys have said this is the exact product you will want to fix on ALL Ram trucks since 2006-2017.Before I bought this , I bought a "replacement" gasket here at Revain and it was just that. An exact replica of an unserviceable factory gasket. $15 down the drain. :(But now everything is ok with this MD product. :)

Pros
  • Brand Name: MD Building Products
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Great rubber, poor adhesion

The quality of the rubber is excellent. The price is comparable to Lowe's, but there was no black in my store (only white, even brown, available in most stores). I'm completely baffled why they can't use a stronger glue. I chose to ignore the reviews that the glue isn't as good as it should be, but they are true. And NOT the best glue could increase the cost of the product so much; it would DEFINITELY improve the yeast product. The stickiness is just "good" and should definitely be improved.

Pros
  • Stronger and more durable than traditional foam tapes
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Half strip useless

Comes tightly rolled with pin pushed through several layers to hold together. With a weather seal, it's annoying to have a pin pierce it - why not just stick a piece of tape over it? But the big problem is that when you unroll it to straighten it, the backing paper starts to separate from the tape because it's wrapped so tightly, meaning the adhesive gets dirty even before you apply the strip to the car . . The inner half is twisted so badly that it never straightens out again. Luckily I only…

Pros
  • Prevents drafts, noise and vibration
Cons
  • Unreliable
