Hard to find, great cages

This is a throwback to the design of Specialized mountain bike bottle cages from the '90s. They are very durable and hold the bottle well. There is no chance that you will bend them with normal use.

Very strong - I like it.

I'm really surprised at how strong this thing is considering it's aluminum. I like the look as I don't care that the new style plastics are so flimsy. I'm glad someone else is making these out of a round metal rod. I will buy another one as I have space to mount it.

ECONOMY WATER BOTTLE HOLDER

WATER BOTTLE HOLDER FOR BICYCLES M-WAVE ALLOY Husband says: This is a good water bottle holder. Most adult bikes have a mounting bolt. This is aluminium. The specs say it's an 8mm design, but the label says 6mm. It mounted perfectly; the holes fit, the bottle is tight, doesn't rattle or fall out. The weight was given as 68 grams; However, it weighs 66 grams. This bottle cage is available in different colors. I have an expensive bike and it's wider on my bike. The round donut that hugs the…

This cage requires you to push the bottle in harder than other cages.

I mounted this bottle cage on a road bike. I wanted 2 bottle cages for 50 miles. This M-Wave Alloy Bike Bottle Cage was fine. It appears to be engineered to fit snugly in the frame, but my mounting screws go into a slightly raised (reinforced) threaded hole. This means that the longitudinal axis of the bottle holder does not touch the frame. More importantly, when trying 5 different types of water bottles, none of them fit flush with the bars of the cage in the holder. The cage either…

Works great when installed correctly, no mounting hardware

This water bottle holder comes with no mounting hardware. My bike was not equipped with holes for this. I used cobalt drill bits to drill holes in a titanium bike frame. I then used rubber washers between the holes in the frame and the water bottle holder to provide some cushioning to keep it from rattling between the frame and the holder. Hopefully the rubber washers will also prevent water from getting into the hollow frame where it will surely rust my bike. Again, all the gear I had was not…

good quality when cycling

Suitable for my child's bike but be aware that if you have a narrow triangle on the bike frame, this bottle cage will be very difficult to install once fitted. Hang your bike on a bike rack. I had this problem trying to resolve an issue between my kid's smaller girls bike (which has a slanted support bar anyway), a water bottle holder, and traveling with the bike in the back of the car on a bike rack. In the end I settled on a bottle cage and then attached her bike to the top of the van instead
