Great Product - Specialty Home Appliances

I LOVE this little car! When we received it we went to YouTube to see how it was being used. The instructions that come with it are a bit confusing. That's the only criticism I have of this product. I also bought a yogurt recipe book when I bought my bear at the same time, so I referenced the book as well. But YouTube videos really got me going. I've been considering buying a yogurt maker for a few months. I borrowed one from a friend to "test" it. I still wasn't sure if that was exactly what I wanted. Easy Greek Yogurt for the kitchen and dining room

I bought this to make my own Greek yogurt because I felt terrible about all the plastic containers I was throwing away for "recycling". A few years ago I had a Salton yogurt maker that was significantly inferior to this one. THE RECIPE SUPPLIED IS NOT THAT GOOD, CHANGE IT FOR SUCCESS! Recipe in my review.

I don't like that the machine comes with a horribly translated recipe that is difficult to follow and doesn't make good yogurt. I had to experiment to find a good non-Greek recipe. I take a little less than a liter of 2% milk, heat it to a boil, 185 degrees, without stirring. I have to use a thermometer and not stir the milk too vigorously. Remove from the heat and let cool down to 120 degrees for about 1/2 hour. Have 1/4 cup plain yogurt with cultures (fruit won't work, but Greek will do). In…

I bought this machine to make yogurt on a regular basis as I never use all the milk I have on hand. Having never made yogurt before, I found that most machines available are basically slow cookers. In fact, you can make yogurt in some slow cooker models. I haven't found any serious flaws with this product yet. Maybe it's because I haven't used this product much, but I'll say a few negatives first.
