Didn't really know I got 100. I.

Didn't really understand I got 100. I think I didn't read the description properly. But I really needed a screw for my antique office, so regardless of the price I ordered it. I couldn't find it anywhere where I live. So now I have 99 for parts. :)

Confirmed Solid Brass

I was concerned they might not be solid brass. However, I am confident that they are solid brass as they gave a very weak response when brought up to a neodymium magnet. Before using them for my plumbing project I polished some of them with metal polish and they turned out to be a nice brassy yellow color. Overall I'm quite happy with these screws and will probably buy brass screws from Small Parts in the future.

These are very small brass machine screws

I actually wanted #3-48 brass screws about 1/4 inch long but nobody seems to be selling them that short. I bought a pack of matching nuts and a little bit. After working with a hacksaw, I trimmed four bolts to the best length. I then loosened the nuts to clean any burrs on the ends of the threads. Buying 100 bolts plus 100 nuts is a little overkill when I only wanted 4 bolts, but I managed to mess up a few bolts with the fairing so I'm only left with 94 bolts (although I didn't use them…
