Do not use the gasket supplied

Excellent oil pan. Does not come with a photo filter. Buy a factory gasket, the gasket that comes with the kit won't stop leaking. Bought both diff covers. Took 10 qts for my ram 06 3500 with 48re

This is my second. I had to buy one

This is my second. I had to buy a new one because I couldn't get the drain plug out of the old one - and I've tried everything! - and I'm tired of lowering the full pan and pouring gear oil (the old one was 4 years old). I see that the manufacturer makes it clear that the drain plug should only be hand tightened.

Lowers the temperature of the transmitter by 15-20 degrees

Very well made frying pan made of heavy-duty die-cast aluminum with a milled mounting surface. Won't flow! The transmission temperature drops by at least 15-20 degrees. I'm towing a 16500 trailer with a Dodge 2000, 47RE, with engine and transmission mods, and after installing this pan the transmission temp can't go above 180 degrees. Previous temperatures have ranged from 205 to 215 degrees with an ambient temperature of 95 degrees at a 7% slope. This is required for all 46, 47 and 48RE…

So far so good with pans and drain plugs

God this thing is heavy. It took me a while to get it in place (working alone) when I finally did and made sure the gasket lined up properly with the holes I started tightening the screws. I took my time and took turns walking around the pan. When I started tightening the bolts (without a torque wrench) I tightened the bolts until it looked like they were tight enough and stopped (take a torque wrench to make sure you don't over tighten them if you like ). After filling and filling the pan, I…

5 stars for product quality, 0 stars for performance!

When you buy this shipping tray you can be assured of the quality of workmanship – the shape, finish and fit are excellent. But in terms of functionality, this is one big, juicy, nothing burger. I bought an oil pan for my Cummins 06 in high hopes that the extra capacity and ribbed design would help keep transmission temperatures down, especially when towing. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have done anything in that regard. The trance tempi still hit the same tempo as before and just as fast.
