Won't take any of my hits but even if I do, I'm pretty sure it'll scratch them the fuck up because they don't have a protective coating on them, they just are Metal.

This item is stronger than it looks. I was surprised by the quality. The magnet is also strong. I would buy again if I had a need. Bravo to the manufacturer and seller.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This heat gun holder fits perfectly on the heat gun on the side of my desk. I always have trouble finding a place for it and forget where I put it. Now he has a home and is safely hidden away with no worries. Many Thanks.

Great product and so easy! I needed a way to hold my heat gun during use and out of hours. This thing works so well my company is implementing a process improvement for it! Can be mounted with hardware or with a magnetic base. The magnet is strong. The only complaint I have is that it can damage the finished surface. Otherwise it's legal!

I use a hairdryer A LOT. I do a lot of wiring and I use heat shrink tubing on all my cables all the time. I used to have to constantly pull out and put away my heat gun, but now with this mount on my workbench I have a dedicated spot for wiring in my shop (also good for removing stickers/adhesives). I have a bracket just above my bench so I still have my entire work surface. The magnet is more than strong, it didn't move a hair. Perfect fit for my Porter Cable heat gun.

I bought this magnetic impact wrench holder to use when applying vinyl wrap etc. I found the magnet was too weak to hold the heat gun in place, it kept sliding down on me. and there is no protective coating on the magnet to avoid paint scratches. I never thought I could use this on an air gun that weighs more than any heat gun. A little disappointed with this product. I had to choose one of the other types of holders offered.
