I bought a size up based on the reviews but it's too big so I think you should go with your actual size. This is a very warm coat. Should have returned for less but never got around to it.

I needed something warm not too expensive as I decided to leave it there with someone etc. We drove to Upper Mustang in north central Nepal. This coat was really good. No surprises, the first few nights in early March were below freezing, I actually slept in it. No problem. Definitely worth the money.

I'm 5.8" tall, 175 lbs, 33" waist and this one fits perfectly. Very warm, but at the same time light, not too bulky. 2 hand pockets, 2 breast pockets. The hood can be fastened around the neck with Velcro at the front to keep out wind and rain. I wore it in rainy weather in temperatures of 35-40F and stayed dry and warm with just a thermal shirt underneath. Excellent purchase.

I bought this coat for my husband to wear in the snow. He loves to! It's a bit boxy - roomy enough for a sweater or winter pants underneath, but not too big. At first we thought it was the wrong size since it's a Chinese size (L=XXL) but it fit perfectly. I think it's a heavy coat, it should be 5 to 6 pounds, but he thinks he'll be nice and warm in it. Bought this jacket for my son to wear in the upcoming ski season. The jacket looked great however, the first time I wore it, 1 main zip broke completely. Last weekend at the ski club he was trying to get his phone out of another chest zipper that was stuck so I tried to help and the second zipper broke in my hand. Pros: This jacket is fantastic! This was a super last minute pre-snowboard purchase and I'm glad I bought it. I was very warm in the jacket, dry and the wind didn't stand a chance either. The fit is just right (I'm 6ft 2in) as I don't like jackets that are too long when I'm sitting down. This is a fairly light/thin jacket but the inner fleece kept it very warm and the lightness gave me enough flexibility for snowboarding. It's like a minus, but just something to consider when planning your next

Those Chinese jackets. Very thin and light compared to other parkas I've bought. Bought this for my grandson who is a tall boy bought him a very tall gentleman. But we get what 5xl said on it. And the zipper is on the wrong side, so I'm assuming it's a women's jacket. I just hope it lasts one winter and then he can put on a few layers underneath.
