Description of 🏆 Magna Qubix 29 Piece Clear Colors: Unlocking Creativity and Winning Awards

This perfect for traveling magnetic building set features 29 Magna-Qubix pieces in traditional rainbow colors – red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. Included in this Magna-Qubix Set are the standard 3D shapes (12 one inch cubes (6 blue + 6 red), 4 orange square pyramids, 8 triangular prisms (4 yellow + 4 green) , 2 orange hexagonal prisms, and 3 green rectangular prisms). For little hands that are struggling to balance traditional building blocks, these magnetic building blocks are a great introduction to early building skills. Powered by neodymium magnets- pieces easily "click" together when near each other unlocking newfound love for building and design in your little one. Try building on a magnetic baking sheet for portable building! All Magna-Qubix include safe, durable pieces made with food-grade ABS (BPA FREE) plastic free of phthalates and latex. Magna-Qubix allow children to explore STEAM subjects through the power of play especially when incorporating other open-ended toys. This magnetic building set develops hand-eye coordination, early math and engineering skills, promotes the development of spatial awareness, and improves fine motor skills. After a few times building something and watching it topple over or not understanding why a certain side may lose magnetism, children learn that each shape must be arranged and placed properly. Magna-Qubix is a great supplement to any Magna-Tiles collection. They are smaller than classic Magna-Tiles, but because they are powered by magnets, they can be used to “decorate” Magna-Tiles creations like polka dots on a ladybug or ornaments on a tree. These building tiles will entertain children (and adults) for an extended period of time. Magna-Qubix are specially designed to be fun and frustration free for little hands. Play experience is for ages 3 years+.

The shape in the box is deceptive.

Disappointing for my 4 year old son. And I understand why, 3D polarity when there are only two dimensions, negative or positive. Causes an unexpected fall of parts. Even the shape they advertise in the box doesn't stick together. Pretty simple magnetic physics.

  • Nice packaging

Stick to the brand names - they break!

After a few months they started to break at the corners where the magnets are. We've had them for a few months but we've played with them maybe 3 times. Then my children became very interested in her, so I released her. After a week they started breaking and I had to throw them away for fear my kids or cats might swallow the magnets.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Danger! Made cheap.

it's soooo dangerous! Wow. My daughter played with it and stepped on it, it jumped up and the tiny magnets fell off immediately. I also have a crawling baby. Luckily I was able to quickly locate all the magnets. Really shocked this is being sold as a toy for children. house with children. With babies. Do not take any risks! Even an older child can play with it and swallow the magnet. Terrible things.

YES - Works with Magnatiles

Who says they don't work with Magnatiles isn't trying hard enough. And by "strong enough" I mean "fairly". They are definitely compatible. See image. See the blue cube hanging from the purple triangle? They work together and the magnets are strong enough. I almost bought them because I didn't want to start a new standalone construction toy since we already have so many different types. They can definitely be added to your existing Magnatel bathroom. I'm glad I bought them. Just like my…

Fun and educational

My 3 year old grandson loves it. We use the tray they arrived in to ensure all parts are returned meaning supervised play but that is fine. They stay on a high shelf when that's not possible. The combinations he makes are amazing, the colors are vibrant, and they teach important lessons about magnets and attraction, all under the guise of a game. I would highly recommend it, but unless you have the ability to control like I do, I would recommend them for an older child. A reusable container…

Magna-Qubix doesn't actually connect to Magna-Tiles

I was very happy to get this for my 3 year old. I figured it would work well alone and with other Magnatils and Magnacars. I was right, they're good from the start, just not enough to pique her interest. As for use with the rest of their kits I don't find them compatible because the magnets don't match, their designs fall apart before they reach halfway. It must have annoyed her too, because the day I mixed them up, she quickly resorted to tiles. When I put them away the second time she used…

Cheap cubes are full of disappointment :(

First of all I just want to say that magna-TILES are amazing. I can't say the same about magna-cubes company though. We ordered 3 different sets hoping that the first set we received just had a defect or a manufacturing defect, unfortunately it doesn't, these cubes crack and break if looked at for a long time, I've never seen them so rough play with them. Then one day I was building with them and one jumped!Another thing is if they break, the tiny magnets fall out and can be a big health…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Questionable purchase for seniors
