Better than you expect!

A template would be nice. Still, they sound great. FYI, this hole is 4 1/2" in diameter. You may need to upgrade to 4 9/16. You will also need 4 Phillips #8 stainless steel screws to attach the speaker. For the price, these speakers are better than expected.I installed them on the outside of my camper van. They sound great.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Disappears

Easy to install in marine speakers

New speakers are great, seem to be working well. The problem was with the old one; The grille cover has detached from the frame, exposing the speaker. It seems that without the ring frame it is also impossible to restore the speaker for other purposes. They were mounted to the side of my trailer and apparently the UV light had weakened the plastic; Granted, not bad after ten years of aging.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Nothing

Perfect fit for my 2013 Jayco X 23F.

Perfect fit for my 2013 Jayco X 23F I really wasn't sure about the right size and the moisture issue after removing the factory speakers was an issue. It was a piece of cake. I had to remove the grilles for my old speakers and put a blade on the caulk line on the outside of the speakers. I then pulled the inside of the speaker out of the RV. I used a plastic spatula and the slime was gone to remove the sealant. I applied double-stick sealing tape to the inside of the speaker by tightening and…

Great as a replacement for RV speakers

They were an exact replacement for the speakers in my 2013 Cougar Bunker Motorhome. Installation took about 1 hour but included installing the insulation behind the speakers. The new speakers don't come with installation screws, so you'd have to go to the hardware store for a new installation, but not for a demo. The speaker quality is what you would expect from a 25w speaker replacement. Sounds good enough to relax with music while camping. I don't have to be very loud as I don't want to…

More detailed specifications

Specifications could be more complete. Please note that msny customers replace broken slippers and need to know the screw pattern, the exact cutout dimensions and the overall dimensions. I was surprised that the speaker grille is part of the speaker and not a separate element. Since the speakers I replaced were larger, I made a modification with part of my original speaker and used my original grilles on the new speaker. The sound quality is excellent, and despite only being rated at 25 watts…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Only one speaker worked

One speaker worked but the other vibrated a bit. It's in my Upstate camper, which I only visit occasionally, and when I got there to install it I couldn't get it back. It was a straight fit that was very good and the one that worked played well. I had to spend another $30 to get another good one. Hopefully at least one works, so I've got two good ones to play with. UPDATE: Got my second pair replacing which didn't work last time and all went well. I've been trying to keep the extra one I have…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
