When I unpacked the product, I was surprised to find that it was smaller than I thought. I bought this for my parents who are in their 90's and was hoping for something easy to use. I probably should have looked for a product with buttons for volume and channel change (if they still exist) as the buttons etc are a bit difficult for some of my parents to read. Below is ok, the price is right, but I think it's for someone a little younger.

I love this alarm clock, it does everything I need. Please check the size before you buy, it's smaller than I thought but it's ok. It has a dueling signal, which I like, and was relatively easy to set up since the instructions aren't entirely grammatically correct. It has a backup battery in case of power outages and the antenna picks up better than the last alarm I had. Great purchase for a low price!

Both the website description and the clock packaging state that the backup battery will keep the clock and alarms going in the event of a power outage holds. This clock is dark and silent during the scheduled alarm time. I'm using an old clock radio with a 9V battery backup that's been running for over 20 years and you know what? The clock goes off but the alarm still runs on battery power when the utility is in trouble. What good is a battery backup if you don't get up for work on time. I…
